The Arts Council presents a variety of events throughout the year, at the Coconino Center for the Arts and in other venues around Flagstaff. At the Center, you’ll experience art exhibitions, compelling concerts, and more. Around Flagstaff, we host performances on downtown Flagstaff’s Heritage Square, concerts in the idyllic setting at the Arboretum at Flagstaff, and Navajo Rug Auctions at the Museum of Northern Arizona.

Accelerate Your Nonprofit Workshop @ Coconino Center for the Arts
Oct 26 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

The Rayvan Group, based out of Phoenix, AZ, invites you to the Accelerate Your Non-Profit with their signature workshop. In this full-day event, they will help your organization design (or redesign) funding strategies to do more than keep your doors open.

[button link=”https://910west.wufoo.com/forms/zxr93iv0edtc34/” color=”default” size=”” stretch=”” type=”” shape=”” target=”_self” title=”” gradient_colors=”|” gradient_hover_colors=”|” accent_color=”” accent_hover_color=”” bevel_color=”” border_width=”1px” icon=”” icon_divider=”yes” icon_position=”left” modal=”” animation_type=”0″ animation_direction=”down” animation_speed=”0.1″ animation_offset=”” alignment=”left” class=”” id=””]Early Bird Registration[/button]

Rayvan Group only works with nonprofits and as a result understand that as the Founder, CEO, President or Executive Director, you’re busy and attending a daylong workshop might not seem like the best use of your time. This event will address some of the biggest challenges facing your nonprofit:

  1. Creating a diverse funding strategy. Funding is the foundation for success in a nonprofit. It’s almost impossible to deliver programs with real impact and develop strong leaders without proper funding.
  2. Finding and keeping the right people. Your organization lives or dies on the strength of the people involved, staff and board members. How do you attract the right people? And once you have them, keep them for long term?
  3. Communicating results. New and current donors want to see how you’re spending their money and more importantly the impact you’re making.

Do you have an idea for a new program? Or are you searching for a clearer direction and a plan to take your nonprofit to the next level? Whether you’re wanting to design a new program, attract more donors, new board members, improve your marketing, create a new fundraising event, generate new revenue streams, or build a rock star team to support you, the Accelerate Nonprofit workroom is where it begins!

Unlike any other nonprofit workshop or seminar, Accelerate Your Nonprofit combines decades of experience from nonprofit leaders, who will work side-by-side with you in this highly interactive 1-day workroom limited to a maximum of 10 participants. If you love to work and be supported in a highly hands-on way, this is for you! You’ll leave with new creative ideas, the most effective strategies and fired up and ready to implement a solid action plan to take your organization to the next level.

The Accelerate Your Nonprofit workroom includes:

  • Jumpstart with Accelerate Your Nonprofit Survey
  • One full day of hands-on creativity, innovation and nonprofit design uniquely tailored for you
  • Follow-up Implementation Call with The Rayvan Group

TWO-DAY Workshop
Sat, March 30 & Sun, March 31 | 9am-12:30pm

The board of directors of a nonprofit organization is the ultimate governing body of the group. Individually and collectively, the board is responsible for financial oversight, providing leadership and direction, being transparent and accountable to its stakeholders, and protecting its legal liability.

It’s rare to discover a board member of a nonprofit that has strong expertise in all areas of board duties. Nearly every board member will benefit by developing knowledge in each of these areas.

These two half-day workshops led by Jarrett Ransom will cover:

  • Recruiting New Board Members
  • Onboarding and Training
  • Keeping Your Board Engaged
  • Evaluating of Board Members
  • Firing a Board Member
  • Fundraising for Boards

Jarrett Ransom has more than 15 years of international and national experience in nonprofit management. In 2009 she created the Rayvan Group, a nonprofit consulting firm focusing on sustainable practices for nonprofits worldwide. Their specialities include strategic visioning, fund and board development, donor stewardship, client and corporate relations, special events, and grant writing. She develops comprehensive growth strategies for nonprofits and entrepreneurial businesses and helps them reach their goals.

Jarrett holds an MBA in business from the University of Phoenix and Certificate of Grant Writing from The Grantsmanship Center Institute. She is the recipient of many awards such as 40 Under 40, AZCentral Who’s Next Nominee, Greater Phoenix Athena Nominee, AmAZing Women of Arizona recipient and the Global Women’s Summit Leadership Award. There is no denying Jarrett’s passion about empowering others and supporting mission-driven organizations that benefit their community.
