In collaboration with the Flagstaff Arts Council, The Flagstaff City/Coconino County PuIn collaboration with the Flagstaff Arts Council, The Flagstaff City/Coconino County Public Library proudly presents the live music and spoken-word event, Stories to Life on Sunday, October 26 at 4 p.m.
Spoken-word artists will read bone-chilling short stories to frighten and scare! Get ready to get spooked during the reading of Jan Neruda’s The Vampire, Winston Churchill’s Man Overboard and Saki ‘s The Open Window. There will be a special reading from Stories to Life: Letters, a letter written by Jack the Ripper himself! The night also will feature the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra small ensemble The Elden Brass Quintet with Stephen Dunn and Cindy Gould, trumpets; Nancy Sullivan, horn; David Vining, trombone; and Alex Lapins, tuba.
This event is free and open to the public. Stories to Life is not appropriate for children ages 6 and under. The next event in the Stories to Life series will be held on November 16, 2014 at the Coconino Center for the Arts.
