SCI TalksInspired by the proliferation and success of TED’s winning formula for engaging, short talks in an intimate, fun setting, the 2015 Flagstaff Festival of Science will be presenting the first annual SCI Talks (Science, Communication, Innovation) event. The SCI Talks will highlight local scientists and science educators sharing their research and innovative science communication ideas.

Jillian Worssam from Sinagua Middle School titled “Learning Science: A Real World Experience”

Nathan Nieto, Ph.D from Northern Arizona University titled “Eco-Epidemiology, Endemism and Zoonoses: Rare but Dangerous Pathogens in Northern AZ”

During intermission look through the art gallery and grab a refreshment. Doors open at 5:30 PM and seating may be limited.
