Message: February 1, 2016

Due to last night’s winter storm, and the forecast of more snow for this afternoon, we are cancelling tonight’s Painting Workshop class at the Coconino Center for the Arts.

A make-up class will be scheduled at the end of the series so that six classes will still be provided.

Please give us a call if you have any questions: 779-2300.

The Flagstaff Arts Council is pleased to present this Painting Workshop with artist C. Tanner Jensen. This class is designed for the student who wants to develop and strengthen their skill as a painter.

Each student will be given individualized instruction based on what media they are using and what goals the are striving to attain. Painting demonstrations and exercises will be given in each class in a variety of painting media. Color, Value, Composition, Techniques, and Materials will be some of the topics covered.

The class will meet once a week Monday evenings for six weeks. Dates are January 18, 25, February 1, 8, 15, and 22, 2016. The class will meet from 5:30pm – 8:00pm each Monday night.

The cost for the entire six-week session is $95 per student.
