Tips and techniques will be provided to help participants create engaging paintings from their own photographs. Participants will be using watercolor and the information covered will be applicable to all color media used. Participants will learn to transfer their images to color selections that enliven a painting.

- Watercolor Brushes
- Graphite Pencils #2 & #HB
- 4 sheets of watercolor paper approximately 11” x 15”
- Plastic Water Container
- At least Two sets of – A color copy 8” x 10” of your own photograph and a Black and White copy of the same photograph.
- A Ruler
- Fine tip black marker such as a fine tip Sharpie
This Workshop is Taught by C. Tanner Jensen
C. Tanner Jensen is a painter who has shown her art in galleries and juried shows throughout the United States and Europe. She has taught workshops and classes for community colleges and universities. Her paintings have been featured in several equine magazines and have appeared on the cover of the Chronicle of the Horse several times. Ms. Jensen is a dressage enthusiast and her love of the sport is reflected in several of her paintings.
