New play by FALA’s first Playwright-in-Residence, Dr. Kathleen B. Jones

Two performances at the Coconino Center for the Arts
Saturday March 28th @ 7 PM
Sunday March 29th @ 3 PM

Origin of the Seasons
The murder of a young woman student by her boyfriend provokes a feminist professor
to confront her guilt about a traumatic loss in her own past. Demeter and Persephone. Mother and Daughter.  Connection and Loss. Written by FALA’s first Playwright-in-Residence, Dr. Kathleen B. Jones, Origin of the Seasons is a timely, provocative drama about domestic violence. Performed by FALA’s advance acting class under the direction of Mike Levin, it also features a trio of musicians performing an original score.

Contains mature language and situations.

Join the playwright, the cast, and Northland Family Help Center for panel discussions after both performances.
