At regional events across the state, top applicants will pitch innovative arts-based venturesto a live audience and a panel of experts for a shot at up to $10,000 in seed funding. With the September 18 application deadline fast approaching, the Arizona Commission on the Arts is offering a unique opportunity to get the inside scoop on Arizona Art Tank. Staff members will offer tips for crafting a superior application and answer your questions. You’ll also hear from one of last year’s northern region award recipients about their experience.

Artist Research & Development Grants
Are you an artist looking for support to propel your project forward? The Arizona Commission on the Arts is now accepting applications for the Artist Research and Development Grants. Artist Research and Development Grants are designed as a way to support artists who are making an impact in Arizona’s communities, as well as in their artistic discipline. Funds awarded are to be an aid in artistic research and development. Applicants to this grant must be practicing artists and can come from any discipline. – See more on the ACA website.
Professional Development Grants
Professional Development Grants for Individuals (PDG) are designed to assist Arizona artists, arts administrators and arts educators with funding support for participation in professional development and skills-building activities which contribute to significant professional growth. Applicants may request grant support up to $750. PDGs must be matched by a minimum contribution of 25% of the grant amount. Applicants can apply for funding to support tuition in the ArtBox Institute. – See more on the ACA website.
