The Arts Council is pleased to present this Grant Writing Workshop with the Arizona Commission on the Arts, as part of the ArtBox Institute. Participants will be given the tools they need to successfully prepare and write grants, using simple techniques and sound principles. Instructors will review grant guidelines for existing grants, review examples of excellent grant proposals and poor responses, and guide participants through a group writing assignment.

The four-hour session will be led by John Tannous, Executive Director of the Flagstaff Arts Council, and Ben Watters, Grants and Research Director of the Arizona Commission on the Arts.

The workshop is intended for staff, Board, and volunteers from non-profit organization in any sector. Please register in advance to secure your spot.
