Greenhouse Productions and Flagstaff Arts Council are pleased to present George Winston in concert. The show will take place at the Coconino Center for the Arts on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7:30 pm.
George Winston is an American solo pianist hailing from Montana. He began playing acoustic piano in the early 1970’s and has been growing as a musician ever since, with over 10 solo piano albums. Winston draws on the inspiration of R&B, jazz, blues, rock and stride piano to create his unique sound. He has even created his own style of instrumental music called folk piano. In recent years, Winston has been focusing on touring and playing live concerts. Along with playing solo piano concerts, he has also been known for solo guitar, harmonica and solo piano dances.
Doors open at 6:30 pm and the concert begins at 7:30 pm at the Coconino Center for the Arts located at 2300 N. Fort Valley Rd. Tickets range from $45 to $65 depending on seating locations. Tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, October 28, 2016 and can be purchased online at flagartscouncil.org or in person at Arizona Music Pro in downtown Flagstaff.
