First Friday ArtWalk is one of Northern Arizona’s premier arts events. Each first Friday of the month, art galleries and businesses in historic Downtown Flagstaff open their doors from 4-8pm with special art exhibitions, performances, live music, treats and much much more. Many downtown hot spots remain open after 9 pm as the ArtWalk celebrations continue.
It’s Flagstaff monthly street party – the ArtWalk is one of those rare events that both locals and out-of-towners attend and enjoy.
The map and guide for each month is available on our website in two formats for your convenience:

In the summer months, we feature free entertainment on Heritage Square. On June 3, Cirque Roots, a grassroots artist collective based out of Tucson, will perform from 6-8pm. Based out of a 1910s adobe warehouse in downtown Tucson, Cirque Roots has created space for the community to engage in circus-inspired arts. Founded in 2011, Cirque Roots focuses on performance and education. Their Heritage Square performance will feature an exciting stilt walking routine.
If you are interested in participating as a business, venue or artist in ArtWalk, please contact Elizabeth Vogler, (928) 779-2300 x109.
