Greenhouse Productions and Flagstaff Arts Council are pleased to present Della Mae in concert at the Coconino Center for the Arts on Thursday, April 11th, 2019. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the concert begins at 7:30 pm.
Della Mae is a Nashville-based string band with a reputation for charismatic live performances. This all female string band is made up of lead vocalist/guitarist Celia Woodsmith,2-time national champion fiddle player Kimber Ludiker, mandolinist Lyn Gardner, and upright bassist Zoe Guigueno. Their versatility and various origins create a vibrant experience that listeners never forget. Their bluegrass, Americana sound combined with their contemporary lyrics allow them to stand alongside the greatest in the industry.
Since performing in Boston in 2009, Della Mae has stood out in the field of bluegrass. In 2014 they were nominated for a Grammy award for their debut album. The band spent much of their time traveling over 30 countries around the world spreading their message of peace through music. Della Mae wants to make a difference and after taking a break from the road they are embarking on a new chapter together. Their mission is to showcase top female musicians and improve opportunities for women through mentorship. These fearless and inspirational women share their passion for music as well as helping other young women pursue their dreams.
This show will take place on Thursday, April 11th, 2019 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $17 in advance and $20 on the day of the concert. Tickets can be purchased online, in person at the Coconino Center for the Arts and downtown at Arizona Music Pro (cash or check only). All ticket sales are final – no refunds will be issued.
