Learn Astrophotography with local photographer Abe Snider. Begin at the Coconino Center for the Arts with a presentation on best practices for night shooting. We will discuss a range of topics including how to find a dark sky area and preparing for the shot, an overview of camera and lens settings, how to focus a lens in the dark and recommendations for framing a capture. We will discuss moon cycles and the procession of the milky ways position and how it will relate to your shots. There will be a demo on a typical night sky edit as well as a look at exposure blending and why it is important for night photography.
