2018 Viola Award Finalist for Excellence in Music

In 2017 Donivan Berube re-emerged in the Flagstaff music scene as a solo artist,releasing his new single titled “Love is a Dog From Hell.” Donivan has been previously recognized for his work in the music duo Blessed Feathers, which dismembered in 2016. Before landing in Flagstaff he traveled the country with his then band (Blessed Feathers) and played music all over the US.

On October 20, 2017 Donvian performed his new music live at Fire Creek in Flagstaff creating buzz at the small venue with over 100+ in paid attendance.  He was featured as the cover story of the FlagLive the week of his show (https://goo.gl/woXJct) Where he is quoted “I just started putting singles out on the Internet,” he says, “Like the Beatles would do. Then I’ll put the album together and it will all occur organically.” Donivan is currently focusing on releasing those singles in upcoming months to gain traction for touring.

When not making music Donivan works for Bookman’s in Flagstaff as the Music Instruments Manager. He also writes a rare/lost record column for Vinyl Me, Please, showcasing classic albums across all genres and eras.
