2018 Viola Award Finalist for Emerging Artist  

Ben Craigie is a Flagstaff and based artist he works in metal and clay, as well as spoken word, and installation art. He is currently working on his BFA at Northern Arizona University. His work has been featured in various locations around town for First Friday artwalk as well as juried exhibitions at the Coconino Center for the Arts (Breaking the Barrier, Foundations), Alwun House in Phoenix (exotica), and Flagstaff Modern and Contemporary gallery.

Ben was chosen as the signature art piece for the 2015 Palette to Palate Fundraiser Auction. His sculptural piece was auctioned off to raise funds for the Coconino Community College art department providing needed equipment, facility upgrades, as well as student scholarships and experiences. Ben was also the recipient of the Foundations art scholarship while attending

CCC, as well as the Sedona Hopi Show scholarship while attending NAU.Ben is currently a full time working artist and student, his ultimate goal is to obtain an MFA and be able to give back, by teaching, supporting and building with other artists.
