Benefits and Responsibilities of Participating Artists

  • We welcome any artistic medium
  • 2-D art must be 10” x 10” (before framing)
    • 2-D art will be framed by the FRAMING DEPARTMENT at Hidden Light at no cost to the artist
    • Art will be custom framed and the artist will be invited to participate in the process
    • Artist must drop off the art at the FRAMING DEPARTMENT by the due date in the email sent to the artist
    • If you prefer not to have your 2-D art framed, please contact Arts Council staff
  • 3-D art must be contained within a 10” x 10” x 10” format
  • All artwork will be on display at the Coconino Center for Arts from January 12 through February 11, 2017

For each piece donated the artist will receive 20% off their purchase of 10×10 artwork. Artists can contribute up to two works for the benefit, receiving 40% off their total purchase. Please note: complimentary framing is limited to one piece per artist.

Artists and their guests will be invited to the private members’ reception on January 12 when the artwork is first available for purchase.

  • Our aim with 10x10 is to raise money for the Center and also to provide an opportunity for patrons to purchase art at affordable levels. However, we do NOT want to undersell your art. We want to have some art that sells at $100, but ultimately leave the decision to you how you would like to price your work. The auction option means that work will begin at auction at $200 and rise from there. Some art sold for as much as $750 last time.
