Flagstaff turns into a cultural mecca for Independence Day Weekend. It’s like the whole town is hosting a giant festival of various activities in different venues. There are parades, festivals, art fairs, many concerts, fireworks and fun to be had all around. It helps also that Flagstaff has beautiful summer weather this time of year, right as monsoon season is ready to start.
The big Independence Day Weekend begins with First Friday ArtWalk. This Friday evening, downtown Flagstaff will be bustling as galleries and businesses showing new art by local artists. Catch the guide for the event here.
