The Flagstaff Arts Council is now hiring for a full-time Marketing Director, and also for part-time interns for the summer and fall semesters. As a busy arts organization that hosts and organizes over 75 events per year, serves a public population of over 50,000 visitors, and supports and advocates for all arts and science non-profit organizations in Flagstaff, the positions are perfect for fast-paced team-oriented individuals who love the cultural scene. The Arts Council has a fun, creative, and collaborative work environment. Our offices are located at the Coconino Center for the Arts, nestled in the pines in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The Marketing Director works on dynamic campaigns to promote art exhibitions, concerts, First Friday ArtWalk, workshops, grant funding opportunities, and special events like the Navajo Rug Auction and the Viola Awards. The position also includes oversight and promotion of Flagstaff365.com, and the development of donor appeal campaigns and other special initiatives such as the upcoming study on the economic impact of the arts and sciences. Interns at the Arts Council learn and grow as professionals while gaining university credit for their participation. Interns provide valuable service to the community through the Arts Council. Two positions are currently available: Program Intern and Exhibitions Intern.
