Registration for the 2016 The ArtBox Institute closes on
November 3. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 17! Register now to learn from experts in the arts on how to build and expand your art career, get your art in front of more people, and find success.
The ArtBox Institute is a business training and professional development program for creatives, arts administrators and artists of any medium, any age, at any stage of a career. The ArtBox Institute (ABI) is designed to provide tools and resources to navigate the business challenges of the contemporary marketplace, and to join a group of like-minded creatives together in a similar pursuit. The curriculum is calibrated to provide a professional foundation built on acquiring practical skills for the marketplace, increasing confidence and actively participating in a community.
This year’s program adds new instructors to our already strong roster. Alyson Stanfield, author of I’d Rather Be in the Studio: The Artist’s No-Excuse Guide to Self-Promotion, will be one of our lead instructors for the opening weekend session. Gabriel Temme (pictured), a sculptor who found success by working on several Hollywood films including The Boxtrolls and Paranorman, will provide a case study on his career path.
ABI begins January 16-17, 2016, with a weekend orientation and opening session. The class meets 3-4 times each month, on Tuesday evenings and some Saturdays. For more information, visit The ArtBox Institute page.
