The Flagstaff Arts Council is now accepting applications for exhibition concepts for both the Main and Jewel Galleries at the Coconino Center for the Arts. Artists can apply to show their work, but applications will be accepted from anyone with an exhibition concept: artists, curators, individuals, organizations, and groups.
Proposals are reviewed by the Arts Council’s Arts Advisory Council, a volunteer group of artists and arts professionals in Flagstaff. The deadline to apply is April 27, 2015. Click here to view the applications.
The Coconino Center for the Arts boasts one of the largest professional gallery spaces in northern Arizona. The Main Gallery is 4,000 square feet space and therefore is most appropriate for group shows, or for artists with significant bodies of work or large-scale work. The Jewel Gallery is a smaller space (270 sq. ft.) and therefore is ideal for solo artist exhibitions.
