Freeman Huber Law’s principal member, Shelton “Tony” Freeman, was previously a shareholder at Deconcini, McDonald, Yetwin & Lacy P.C. for almost two decades before leaving the firm in the Spring of 2013 to launch Freeman Huber Law PLLC. He and his team bring a passion to their work that extends beyond their primary legal services.

Tony in particular brings his outside passions to the firm through his nature photography, Nature Exposed Photography. Tony has been a participant and support of Flagstaff’s First Friday ArtWalk for several years. He transforms his Flagstaff office into a gallery and reception space for the event, every month from April through September each year. Tony supports the arts as a sponsor of major art events in the community, including art exhibitions at the Coconino Center for the Arts.

In 2014, the firm significantly raised its game in regards to support of and participation in the arts. They launched the first Youth Lens Photography Contest and exhibition. The program encouraged high school student photographers to submit their very best photographs for consideration. A jury including Tony Freeman, Stephen Saunders and Tom Alexander, selected photographs to be included in an exhibition that was displayed for three ArtWalk events in summer 2014. They also selected three prize winners, and the firm funded the awards that included cash prizes, certificates and quality prints.
