Horseshoe Bend by Tom Alexander
Nature Exposed Photography is pleased to present Youth Lens: High School Photography Contest for 2015. We are seeking quality photographs from student photographers enrolled in high schools in the Flagstaff area for this program.
Flagstaff-area high school students are encouraged to submit their photographic work to be juried by three local photographers and photography experts. Any subject matter is accepted and permitted, as long as it is suitable for all ages.
All accepted photography will be printed by Nature Exposed (8”x10”) and displayed in Nature Exposed offices at 19 West Birch Avenue, Flagstaff, AZ. The opening reception will be held during First Friday ArtWalk on July 3, 2015, 6-9 p.m. and the exhibition will remain open through September 2015.
If your photograph is selected for acceptance in the exhibition, it will be printed by Nature Exposed (approx. 8″x10″) for display. You will get to take home the print at the end of the exhibition.
All photography displayed in the exhibition will be entered for consideration of three individual prizes:
Grand Prize: Metal Print of Photograph ($300+ value) plus $200 cash
First Place: $150 cash
Second Place: $50 gift certificate for framing
Winners will also be announced in a press release, and featured in the First Friday Artwalk map for August and September 2015.
