We’re excited to announce two new events from the Cash For Local Change program: cash mob events! On First Friday ArtWalk, Criollo Latin Kitchen and Full Circle Trade & Thrift will be hosting live music and artist demonstrations. Participating artists are Emma Gardner and Inga Kern, and participating musical acts are Raillery, Jack Webb Jazz Band, and Sambatuque.

The crew at Full Circle have developed an amazing business model

What are Cash Mobs? you may ask. Cash Mobs are a fun events – often with live music and art, like this one – where locally-minded patrons show up with cash to spend at that business during the event. You don’t need to bring piles of cash; just bring a $5, $10 or a $20, and spend some of it at that business. Cash Mobs only happen at independently owned local businesses. It’s about supporting local business and local jobs in the community we love!

Full Circle is a locally managed non-profit thrift store that gives back to the community and participates in Cash For Local Change. Criollo Latin Kitchen is an exquisitely good local restaurant whose owner dreamed up the Cash For Local Change concept as a way to give back to Flagstaff.
