In collaboration with the Flagstaff Arts Council, The Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library proudly presents an event in the Spring 2016 Stories to Life series on Sunday, February 7, 4:00 p.m. This Land is Your Land:  America’s National Parks takes place at the Coconino Center for the Arts.

This Land is Your Land:  America’s National Parks features the Ponderosa Players providing majestic music in honor of the National Parks and spoken-word artists reading the best of the best about the experience of saving and preserving our public lands for future generations.

Judy Finney, Stories to Life founder and Flagstaff Library Outreach Manager:  “This is going to be a really neat celebration of the National Parks during the year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service that is just getting underway in 2016.  There are going to be uniformed NPS personnel in attendance.  The music will be majestic, just like the parks themselves.  And our spoken-word cast at Stories to Life is always the best!”

Funding for Stories to Life is generously provided by the Friends of the Library. This event is free and open to the public. For more information about the series, please contact Flagstaff Arts Council at (928) 779-2300, Judy Finney at the Flagstaff Public Library at (928) 213-2369.
